Dr. Valentina Petrović is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology at the University of Zurich (UZH) and a lecturer at the Department of Political Science (at UZH) and the University of Fribourg. She completed her PhD at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence. Her research interests lie at the intersection of comparative politics, political sociology, and political economy, with a regional focus on Eastern European countries. She is the author of the book Strukturno poreklo postjugoslovenskih režima: elite, civilno društvo i država, objavljene 2024. godine u izdanju Routledge-a.
